UN Behavioural Science Internship

We bring current students and recent graduates into the UN. Previours roles have included contributing to the UN Behavioural Science Week, communications and learning how to embed behavioural science into the UN.

Jude Darwich, Syria

MSc Behavioural Science

London School of Economics and Political Science

"One of the most striking aspects of my internship was the eagerness of UN entities to integrate behavioural science into their projects. Witnessing the tangible impact of behavioural insights in elevating project effectiveness was both surprising and gratifying. This practical application starkly contrasted with the theoretical focus of academia, bringing to light the real-world potential of behavioural science in shaping humanitarian efforts."

Lola Idowu, USA

MSc Behavioural Science

London School of Economics and Political Science

“My favourite part about the internship was getting to use my skills while also developing new ones. Since the marketing and communications initiatives at the UN behavioural science Initiative are relatively nascent, there was lots of opportunity  to explore innovative strategies and diverse awareness projects."

Work with us

We seek motivated interns to support the work of the UN Behavioural Science Group, which is an initiative of the UN Innovation Network and the Executive Office of the Secretary-General. Our interns work as key members of our team, pursue projects that are designed to make a permanent difference, and have opportunities to learn about the work of the entire UN System.

Currently, there are no openings for interns. Look out for upcoming opportunities soon!
